Instructions for registering

If you've run into some trouble when registering on this website or adding your organisation to our Directory of Offender Services or Partnership Finder, you might want to follow this step-by-step guide.

1. Registering on our website - are you already registered?

If you already receive emails from Clinks, or if your organisation is already a Member or has an entry in our Directory of Offender Services, this does not necessarily mean that you are already registered on this site.

We only recently introduced the 'log-in' facility on our website, so it's quite likely that you'll need to set up a new account first of all. There's no limit to the amount of individuals at an organisation who can register on the site - so you don't need to share accounts.

When you set up a new account, you'll be asked to enter the name of your organisation:

When you start typing the name of your organisation, a drop-down menu will appear. You can select the name of your organisation from this list. This way, our system will recognise you as being related to this organisation - and if your organisation is a Member of Clinks, you'll also be recognised as such.

Of course, if your organisation is not yet on our database, you'll need to select the 'Create new organisation' option further down the page.

2. Registering on Partnership Finder and/or the Directory of Offender Services

To add your organisation to either Partnership Finder or the Directory of Offender Services, you'll first need to ensure that you're logged into our website. Does it say 'Log-out' in the top corner of your screen? If not, you'll need to log-in first.

You can then go to www.clinks.org/directories and choose the directory that you wish to be added to. Then select 'Register my Organisation' on the right hand side of the page.

This will bring up a pop up window that looks like this:

Select the edit option on the right hand side to open up the application form. If the edit button does not appear, you may need to click Request permission to edit this organisation. This will notify us that you wish to edit this information - we will then give your account the required permissions to do this, and email you to confirm.

When you've reached the application form, you'll need to confirm the appropriate options on the left hand side of the form:

If you're registering for Partnership Finder, it's particularly important that you provide us with the information requested in question 7 - as this is what will make the directory such a useful resource.

When you've completed the form, select SAVE at the bottom of the page. Please note that your entry will not be included on the directory immediately as we need to check through the information. It should go live within two working days. If you require any assistance along the way, please call Luke on 0207 248 3538.
